So here I am in the middle of nowhere with some emo dude and a shopkeeper. The former at least has a Monarch March effect, and I have a place available to heal and save.
It really came in handy due to these ooze enemies who I didn't take a shot of. Still resistant to physical elements, and this annoying big one could spread status around. It could even use a draining attack. Eventually it got to the point where I just started running from these enemies, particularly when my inventory was full. The other new major enemy here were these lizards who could hit a row and lower their attack, but wasn't that big a threat.

The FOEs were actually easier! I still could keep the Deathstalkers well in hand unless something atrocious happened Notably I could become invincible to the GIant Moas. They could not outdamage Sophie's regeneration with an attack or a Rush, and she would heal everyone up from the latter. So I could gradually wear them down. Or speed it up with Gundis using Act Quick into Charged Shot for over 300 damage for just 8TP.
Along the way, there was conversations with Leo where we encourage the guy, saying it's not his fault that every guild he partners with dies except for him, and saying they'd just be happy he's still alive.

Eventually I make it through, and both are impressed at my prowess. My return is celebrated, and I get a mission to slay the Wyvern. Leo wants to help and gets to lead the diversionary team, while mine moves in to jump it from behind.
Two quests are available. One to get two rainbow gels from those big stupid monsters to help a guy sleep since Mint didn't work, and another to kill those lizards on B1 until there's none left because somebody was catching and releasing them. I step in and get this encouraging message.

The encounters are all various formations of the lizards. They aren't too hard to deal with. Gundis in particular could one-shot one after charging up. For the ooze, I simply went back to the minidungeon where those statues were, since they could appear there in easier to deal with groups.

With that taken care of, all that was left to do was fight the boss. Postgame demoted to a main game boss, let's rock! Leo taunts it at the beginning, leading a group of soldiers. I get a free preemptive!

This was, quite simply, a curbstomp. Galvanic Ray was about the only scary one, able to do upwards of 70 damage to Landis before the buffs went up. One time it hit Harumi for like 50, and she completely healed it off passively after the turn was over between Royal Veil and Protect Order. Similarly, a randotarget attack didn't do much for its efforts.
I powered up early and unleashed Links at first. With Triple Charge Force Break, the initial strike did this much and the followups did 60 apiece. This greatly cut into its HP, and Landis' TP as well.

Here's a picture of how much Gundis' Charged Shot was doing. The Ninas were doing like 60 damage each per attack, and 100 with their weapon's special. Landis contributed less after that big burst at the beginning - wasted too much TP on stacking Improved Link. Towards the end I started having him use Falcon Slash to up everyone else's damage a little bit.

With a consistent flow of damage and the Wyvern unable to get past my healing, this one did not take long. The one hiccup throughout is that Endless Shroud was stubborn to trigger for Harumi, but she still had tons of TP to work with.
Also man is getting a good steady shot of something dying like impossible with discount screenshots.

It drops dead and that's that! Leo even prevented everyone, and actually anyone, from dying - a first for him! I head back to Persephone to report in, who tells me more about what they are looking for in this land, but the biggest of all is this thing that's supposed to bring prosperity to whichever nation holds it. A bunch of rogue seafarers are here looking for it too, and it is imperitive they do not get their hands on it.

Also Napier is not happy that I saved her competition. But hey, heading into a place very familiar to her next, so she certainly won't be upset for long.
